Byron Buxton is not in Minnesota's starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins with right hip flexor soreness.

Unfortunate, but this shouldn't exactly be a long-term absence for Buxton. who is off to a .260/.319/.580 start with 15 bombs in his first 40 games. Ryan Kreidler is taking over in center field while Brooks Lee gets a shot as the No. 2 hitter.
