Luis Severino took his fifth loss after giving up five runs in six innings Saturday against the Giants.

Casey Schmitt hit a pair homers off him. Aside from that, Severino struck out seven and walked two. He's been perfectly adequate in going 2-5 with a 4.45 ERA, but things will get interesting in July with the A's probably in the mix for a playoff spot but Severino also typically struggling while being asked to pitch in Sacramento. He does have a decent matchup next week on the road against the Angels.
