Kevin Ginkel, relief pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks, struggled in a critical situation during a May 8, 2026 game against the New York Mets. After the bullpen had been performing well with Juan Morillo and Brandyn Garcia delivering excellent outings, Ginkel entered in the 10th inning and immediately gave up back-to-back doubles and a bunt single before recording his first out.
