After undergoing surgery on February 12, he has attempted multiple rehab assignments but has been pulled back twice due to renewed soreness and pain. As of mid-May 2026, Holliday is on his third rehab assignment with Double-A Chesapeake, showing modest performance (.176/.250/.235 in 14 games).
