Scouting Report
Updated May 19, 2026
Kyle Bradish, Baltimore Orioles' No. 2 starter, has shown significant improvement after struggling early in the 2026 season. Following Tommy John surgery in June 2024, Bradish made a technical adjustment to his leg kick that has led to two consecutive quality starts. Against the Athletics on May 9, he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits with 10 strikeouts over 7 innings (4-3 loss). Most impressively, against the Yankees on May 14, he delivered a dominant 6-inning, 1-hit shutout performance with 7 strikeouts, leading the Orioles to a 7-0 victory. His increased curveball usage has been key to his recent success, generating 8-9 whiffs per start compared to his historical average of 7. Bradish is now 2-5 with a 4.21 ERA through 9 starts, but his trajectory is clearly upward.
