Aroldis Chapman, 38-year-old left-handed relief pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, is experiencing a career renaissance in 2026. Chapman has been exceptional this season with 11 saves, a 0.54 ERA, and 12.3 strikeouts per nine innings. He has converted his last 23 consecutive save opportunities dating back to July 26, 2025, with opposing hitters batting just .123 against him in that stretch with 41 strikeouts. Chapman is approaching several all-time milestones: he recently passed Joe Nathan for 10th place on the all-time saves list with 378 saves, is 12 saves away from tying Dennis Eckersley for 9th place (390), and 22 saves away from reaching 400 career saves.
