Scouting Report
Updated May 19, 2026
Tyler Glasnow, Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star right-handed pitcher, was placed on the 15-day injured list on May 8, 2026, with lower back spasms. He exited Wednesday's start against the Houston Astros after one inning while warming up for the second frame. Glasnow downplayed the issue postgame, noting it's a minor problem he has dealt with throughout his career. The Dodgers opted to shelve him for a couple weeks to allow the issue to subside. Prior to the injury, Glasnow was performing at a top-of-the-rotation level with a 2.72 ERA in seven starts, tied for sixth in the NL with 49 strikeouts. He is expected to miss at least two starts. Lower back tightness previously sent Glasnow to the IL in 2024, where he missed around three weeks.
