Brendan Donovan has been activated from the 10-day injured list and returned to the Mariners lineup at third base and leadoff spot after missing time with a left groin strain. He underwent sports hernia surgery in the offseason and suffered a hip injury early in the season. Donovan completed a successful rehab assignment with Double-A Arkansas, going 1-for-3 with a double, RBI, and two walks. Manager Dan Wilson expressed excitement about his return.
