Scouting Report
Updated May 20, 2026
Jasson Dominguez suffered a left shoulder AC sprain after crashing into the outfield wall at Yankee Stadium while making a catch on May 7, 2026. The 23-year-old was carted off the field and placed on the injured list. Concussion tests came back negative, but he remains in concussion protocol. Manager Aaron Boone indicated Dominguez will miss "a few weeks." This injury derails what appeared to be a promising opportunity for the young outfielder, who had been hitting well and showing dynamic baserunning after being called up from Triple-A. The injury marks another setback in a career plagued by bad luck, following Tommy John Surgery that cost him most of 2024.
