Athletics shortstop Jacob Wilson suffered a left shoulder subluxation/dislocation on May 10, 2026, while diving for a ground ball during a game against the Baltimore Orioles. Wilson was placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to May 11. MRI imaging confirmed the injury, and Wilson is not expected to require surgery. He will begin a rehab program before resuming baseball activities with no specific timetable for return. This injury comes after Wilson signed a 7-year, $70MM extension in the offseason following a strong 2025 rookie season where he finished second in AL Rookie of the Year voting (.311/.355/.444, 13 HR in 523 PA).
