Yoendrys Gómez, 26-year-old right-handed pitcher, was acquired by the Minnesota Twins from the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for cash considerations on May 6, 2026. Gómez was recently designated for assignment by Tampa Bay after struggling significantly. He has exhausted his final minor league option and will be added directly to Minnesota's bullpen. The Twins are seeking bullpen depth after gutting their relief corps in the previous offseason.
