Jasson Dominguez suffered a low-grade AC sprain in his left shoulder after colliding with the outfield wall while making a catch in the first inning against the Texas Rangers on May 7, 2026. Concussion tests were negative, but he is in concussion protocol. Manager Aaron Boone indicated he will miss "a few weeks." Dominguez had previously dealt with an elbow injury earlier in the week but was cleared to continue playing. His current season statistics show a .200/.250/.367 batting line with 1 home run.
