Scouting Report
Updated May 20, 2026
Matt Brash, Seattle Mariners relief pitcher, is recovering from right lat inflammation. He was placed on the 15-day IL in early May but is progressing well through his rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma. He has been cleared for bullpen sessions and is trending toward a return. Brash had an excellent 2025 season (2.47 ERA in 53 games) and had not allowed a run in 14 appearances in 2026 before the injury. The Mariners are hopeful for his return soon, pending no setbacks.
