Brock Stewart, 34-year-old RHP, was activated off the injured list after missing the first 5 weeks of the 2026 season (36 games) due to right shoulder debridement surgery in late September 2025. Stewart completed an 8-game rehab assignment (2 with Class-A Ontario, 6 with Triple-A Oklahoma City) where he pitched 6.1 scoreless innings with 13 strikeouts, 3 walks, and 23 swinging strikes across 112 pitches. His fastball velocity was slightly down from last season (95.5 mph four-seam, 94.8 mph sinker vs. 96.2 mph average in 2025). Stewart successfully completed a standard reliever build-up including back-to-back appearances and mid-inning entries. He was acquired by the Dodgers mid-2025 from Minnesota where he had a dominant 2.38 ERA with 41 strikeouts over 34 innings in 39 appearances, particularly effective against RHH. His brief 2025 stint with LA was limited to 4 appearances (4.91 ERA, 3.2 IP) before shoulder inflammation led to surgery.
