Scouting Report
Updated May 20, 2026
Robby Snelling, a top pitching prospect for the Miami Marlins, was placed on the 15-day injured list with a UCL sprain in his left elbow just five days after making his major league debut. The 22-year-old left-hander allowed three runs over five innings in his debut against Washington on May 8, walking four batters while striking out two. He reported discomfort following a bullpen session on May 13. Further testing is pending to determine if Tommy John surgery will be necessary. Prior to the injury, Snelling had dominated in Triple-A with a 1.86 ERA over six starts with 44 strikeouts in 29 innings.
