Sammy Peralta, a left-handed relief pitcher, was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque by the Colorado Rockies on May 15, 2026. He was brought up to provide fresh bullpen depth following Chase Dollander's elbow injury. Peralta had previously been with the Rockies in April but did not appear in any games. In Triple-A, he posted a 3.79 ERA with a 14:5 K:BB ratio over 19 innings. He was originally claimed by Colorado after being DFA'd by the Milwaukee Brewers earlier in the season.
