Jake Mangum, Pirates outfielder acquired from Tampa Bay Rays, placed on 10-day injured list retroactive to May 6, 2026 with left hamstring strain. Expected to return by mid-May. Mangum has been a versatile utility outfielder playing all three outfield positions in 28 of Pirates' first 34 games. Slashing .260/.333/.288 (OPS .621) with ability to get infield singles and steal bases. Pirates GM Ben Cherington expressed optimism about early return, noting Mangum is an important part of the team's outfield depth.
