Logan O'Hoppe, Los Angeles Angels catcher, suffered a fractured left wrist on April 25, 2026, and has been progressing through rehabilitation. He began a rehab assignment with the ACL Angels in early May after showing significant progress in his recovery. O'Hoppe has progressed to catching off a machine, hitting on the field, and running the bases. He is expected to return to the Angels lineup by mid-to-late May. Before the injury, O'Hoppe was slashing .205/.323/.256 with a .579 OPS in 26 games. Manager Kurt Suzuki expressed optimism about O'Hoppe's return, and O'Hoppe himself stated he felt things were "starting to click" before the injury occurred during the Kansas City series.
