Jose Siri's contract was selected by the Los Angeles Angels from Triple-A Salt Lake on May 16, 2026. After spending the entire 2026 season in the minors, Siri demonstrated improved performance at the plate, slashing .288/.353/.504 with 5 home runs, 27 RBIs, 18 runs, and 4 steals through 140 plate appearances. He has been promoted to serve as the Angels' bench outfielder. Siri previously played for the Mets in 2025 (16 games) before being designated for assignment and entering free agency, eventually signing a minor-league deal with the Angels.
