Miguel Castro is a 27-year-old right-handed reliever who was recalled by the Yankees from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on May 7, 2026. Castro last appeared in MLB during the 2022 season with the Giants and Cubs, where he posted a 10.22 ERA over limited action. In Triple-A in 2026, he has shown significant improvement with a 3.14 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 10:4 K:BB ratio across 14.1 innings. He was selected by the Yankees in the Rule 5 draft in December 2023 and added to the 40-man roster in November 2025 to prevent minor league free agency.
