Griffin Lockwood-Powell is a Brewers outfielder who suffered a laceration and contusion to his right knee after crashing into the wall while chasing a foul ball on May 8, 2026 against the Yankees. He required nine stitches for a deep cut near his knee and was carted off the field. X-rays came back clean with no fracture. He was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 9, 2026. Manager Pat Murphy indicated the laceration will keep him sidelined for some time as the swelling needs to subside before an MRI can be performed.
