Tyler Glasnow, Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher, was placed on the 15-day injured list with lower back spasms after exiting his May 6 start against the Houston Astros in the second inning. He reaggravated a previous back injury while warming up. Despite initial optimism from manager Dave Roberts that he might avoid the IL, Glasnow's back "flared up" and he was shelved for at least two weeks. The team indicated no long-term structural damage was sustained.
