Yohan Ramirez was acquired by the Minnesota Twins from the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations. The 26-year-old right-handed reliever had been designated for assignment by Tampa Bay after posting a 6.23 ERA through 17⅓ innings in 2026. Twins manager Derek Shelton praised Ramirez as "a big arm" that the organization liked during spring training, noting the acquisition adds velocity to their bullpen.
