Athletics shortstop Jacob Wilson, 24-year-old All-Star and 2025 AL Rookie of the Year runner-up, was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 12, 2026, due to a left shoulder subluxation (dislocated shoulder). The injury occurred on May 11 when Wilson dove to cut off an infield single by Orioles' Gunnar Henderson during a 2-1 loss to Baltimore. MRI imaging confirmed the subluxation. His 2026 performance has declined to .292/.311/.398 with 3 HR in 39 games (168 PA), though he maintains elite contact rates and low strikeout rates.
