Blaze Jordan, 23-year-old infielder for Triple-A Memphis Redbirds, has been named Cardinals Minor League co-Player of the Month for April 2026. Through 30 games in May, he's slashing .322/.370/.602 with 8 home runs, 21 RBIs, and a .972 OPS. In April, he posted .276/.323/.517 with 6 doubles and 5 home runs across 22 games. Jordan has simplified his approach, improved his swing mechanics, and is staying in the zone longer. He can play both first base and third base and was acquired from Boston Red Sox in July 2025 for LHP Steven Matz. Cardinals Director of Player Development Larry Day praised his work ethic and contact quality.
