He completed an 11-game rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis, posting a 3.55 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, and 10 strikeouts over 12.2 innings. During his rehab, Pushard showed improved velocity with his fastball topping out at 97.2 mph. The Cardinals plan to use him as a middle reliever to help stabilize their bullpen.
