Nabil Crismatt, 22-year-old pitcher for St. Lucie Mets (Florida State League), was named FSL Pitcher of the Week after an outstanding performance on Friday. Crismatt threw seven shutout innings with 11 strikeouts (matching career-high), zero walks, and allowed just three singles on 104 pitches in a 4-0 Mets victory over Dunedin Blue Jays. He struck out the side in the sixth inning and fanned the final two batters in the seventh. Crismatt is a 22-year-old from Barranquilla, Colombia, signed as a non-drafted free agent in 2011, and previously pitched for Team Colombia in the World Baseball Classic in March.
