Trevor Rogers, 28-year-old LHP for the Baltimore Orioles, was reinstated from the 15-day injured list on May 12, 2026 after recovering from the flu. Rogers had been placed on the IL on April 29 after contracting a bad case of the flu. Prior to the injury, Rogers showed inconsistency in 2026, posting a 4.75 ERA through his first six starts with 27 strikeouts in 30.1 innings. He had several rough outings including allowing 6 runs to Cleveland (with 2 HRs) and 3 runs in just 2 innings against Boston. However, Rogers demonstrated elite form in 2025 with a 1.81 ERA in 18 starts for Baltimore, winning the Louis M. Hatter Most Valuable Oriole Award. He completed a simulated bullpen session and indicated he would not require a minor-league rehab assignment before returning.
