Luis Perales was placed on the 7-day injured list for High-A Wisconsin on May 15, 2026, due to illness. He is recovering from a heat-related incident in late April when he was hospitalized after becoming overheated in the dugout. Perales has progressed sufficiently in his recovery to resume baseball activities and is beginning a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League. The move to the IL allows him to continue his rehabilitation process.
