Scouting Report: Isaiah Campbell
Arizona Diamondbacks | RP
Overall
Summary
Kristian Campbell, 23-year-old Boston Red Sox utility player, is showing signs of a turnaround in Triple-A Worcester after being demoted from MLB in June 2025. Campbell started his rookie season hot (.364 BA, 1.143 OPS in 10 games) and signed an 8-year, $60M extension, but subsequently struggled, hitting below .200 over 57 games with poor defense. He has since transitioned to the outfield. In Triple-A, Campbell is slashing .291/.397/.398 through 28 games with improved plate discipline (19 walks). Most notably, he homered off Yankees All-Star Carlos Rodón (3-time All-Star, 18-9 record in 2025) on May 5, 2026, and also hit a 104 mph opposite-field double. Worcester manager Iggy Suarez noted Campbell is "walking a little different" with renewed confidence reminiscent of his early career form.
Strengths
