Scouting Report: Archie Bradley
Chicago Cubs | RP
Overall
Summary
Taj Bradley, Minnesota Twins right-hander, was placed on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to May 6) due to right pectoral inflammation. MRI revealed inflammation and tightness but no muscle strains or tears. Bradley was having an impressive 2026 season with a 2.87 ERA, 26.1% strikeout rate, and 8.5% walk rate across eight starts and 47 innings before the injury. Recent updates indicate he is progressing well in recovery, having played catch and trending toward a bullpen session by late May. He is consulting with Dr. Keith Meister. Bradley represents a significant turnaround from a disappointing 2025 campaign.
