Hunter Greene, Cincinnati Reds right-handed pitcher, underwent surgery to remove bone chips from his right elbow in March 2026 and has not pitched this season. As of mid-May, he is progressing through rehab with long toss reaching 150 feet. He is scheduled to throw his first bullpen session on May 26 and rejoin the team on May 29 for continued rehabilitation assignments. Expected return to the rotation is targeted for the second half of the season. Greene is considered a high-value asset due to his elite strikeout potential and is the Reds' ace when healthy.
