Jake Hager is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion (Jack Swagger) who retired from professional wrestling in August 2025 to focus on his trucking/logistics business in Tampa, Florida. However, he has announced a surprise return to in-ring competition at World Wrestling Council's 53rd Anniversary event on June 27, 2026, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This marks his first wrestling match since November 2024 (602 days away). Additionally, Hager made his Power Slap debut during WrestleMania 42 weekend and won his debut match.
