Summary
Jackson Holliday is a 22-year-old former #1 overall pick for the Baltimore Orioles who suffered a hamate bone fracture in his right hand during spring training 2026. After multiple setbacks during his rehab assignment, he is working his way back to MLB. He has been given reps at third base during his minor league rehab despite being primarily a second baseman at the big league level. Holliday showed promise in 2025 with a .242/.314/.375 slash line, 17 home runs, and 55 RBIs in 149 games. He is currently on his third rehab assignment with Double-A Chesapeake and is expected to return to the majors in May 2026.
