Summary
Casey Mize, 2025 All-Star RHP for the Detroit Tigers, is returning from a mild right adductor strain sustained on April 29. He was eligible to come off the 15-day IL on May 14 and was activated to start against Toronto on May 16. Before the injury, Mize posted a 2.90 ERA with 35 strikeouts and 1.194 WHIP in six starts. He maintained his pitching volume throughout his recovery with multiple bullpen sessions and live batting practice in Lakeland, Florida, and did not require a minor-league rehab assignment.
