Scouting Report: Bailey Falter
Kansas City Royals | SP
Overall
Summary
Bailey Falter, 29-year-old left-handed reliever for the Kansas City Royals, was activated from the injured list on May 16, 2026, after spending approximately one month recovering from left elbow inflammation. He completed a full rehab assignment at Triple-A Omaha, posting a 2.70 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with a 19:3 K:BB ratio over 13.1 innings. During his rehab stint, he allowed only 4 earned runs in 13.1 innings. Falter developed a new training routine and pitching mentality while rehabbing to better serve him as a reliever, working with specialists to create an arm and body routine for short-burst pitching. He is now fully healthy and will replace Matt Strahm in Kansas City's bullpen in a middle-relief role.
