Scouting Report: Nash Walters
Milwaukee Brewers | RP
Overall
Summary
Andrew Walters, Cleveland Guardians RHP, is recovering from right lat surgery (June 2025) and was progressing through rehab in Triple-A Columbus. His rehab assignment was paused in late April due to a viral illness that prevented him from pitching since April 24. He is expected to restart a new rehab stint once fully recovered from the illness. Walters was drafted 62nd overall in 2023 and made his MLB debut in summer 2024, pitching 8.2 scoreless innings. He was called up in May 2025 but suffered a lat tear two days later, ending his season. When healthy, he features a mid-to-high 90s fastball and deadly slider but struggles with control (6.75 BB/9 in 2025, 4.76 BB/9 in 2026 rehab).
Strengths
- Mid-to-high 90s fastball
