Scouting Report: Ryan Conroy
Milwaukee Brewers | RP
Overall
Summary
Joe Ryan, 29-year-old right-hander for the Minnesota Twins, exited his start against the Blue Jays in the first inning after just nine pitches due to elbow discomfort. An MRI revealed no structural damage, which was excellent news for the Twins. Ryan has since played catch and completed a bullpen session on Wednesday with positive results, reporting good velocity and effective offspeed stuff. He is on track to make his next scheduled start on Saturday in Cleveland. This represents a best-case scenario recovery from what initially appeared to be a serious injury concern.
Strengths
- No structural damage confirmed by MRI
- Already throwing and cleared bullpen session
