New York Mets | SP
Overall
Summary
David Peterson has shown significant improvement after being moved to a bulk relief role by the Mets. After struggling as a starter with an 8.10 ERA over 23.1 innings (0-4 record), Peterson has excelled in relief with a 1.69 ERA over 16 innings (1-0 record). In recent outings, he has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four of his last five appearances. His most recent outing on May 9 against the Diamondbacks saw him pitch five innings with zero earned runs allowed (three unearned runs due to defensive errors).
