Carlos Rodón underwent left elbow surgery in October 2025 to remove loose bodies and shave down a bone spur. He completed a rehab assignment with three minor league starts, building up to 6.1 innings in his final Triple-A appearance on May 6, 2026. Despite allowing 5 earned runs in that last rehab outing, Yankees manager Aaron Boone confirmed Rodón is on track to make his 2026 season debut on Sunday, May 10 against the Milwaukee Brewers. Rodón will slot into the Yankees' rotation in a mid-rotation role.
